Low-Fat Milk Has Perks

The “Low-Fat Milk Has Perks!” campaign was developed to create awareness, to educate and change the public’s perceptions regarding low-fat (1% and skim) milk. Many milk consumers had negative misperceptions regarding whole and 2% milk’s healthiness compared to the healthier alternatives of 1% and skim milk. The campaign featured a website with Oklahoma City Thunder player Kendrick Perkins promoting the healthy perks of low-fat milk with “lactoid factoids” and a call to action to change purchasing behavior, delivered in both English and Spanish.
